With the help of Paul Couch, the Town of Osoyoos is offering an Advanced Adult Pickleball League. This league is run by Paul but the Sonora Community Centre will be taking registrations and working with Paul to support the league. Registration opened Tuesday October 9 and is be available for any player ranked 3.75 or higher. The league runs Mondays 7:00pm-8:45pm from October 22 to December 17. The cost is $35.00 or $25.00 for those who have an Annual Pass with the Sonora Community Centre. Registration filled up quickly, and several players are on the wait list after just 1 day of registration opening. Format of play:

-The 3 courts will be classified into A,B,C courts with 4 players on each court.

-Round 1: Each court will play 3 games (play with everybody once). The player who won the most games will move up to the next court. The player who lost the most games will move down 1 court. Once all courts are finished their 3 games, players will move up, down or stay on the same court.

-Round 2: 3 games will be played with the new teams. At the end of the second round the night will be over. Players will either move up, down, or stay the same which will set up the schedule for the following week.

We've improved the pickleball experience for everyone as we've taped proper kitchen lines (rather than using the badminton lines) so we now have regulation sized non-volley zones!
